2. What data we process and why

Your tracker progress

What you check off in ViceTracker is stored only in your browser's local storage (localStorage). That data is not sent to our servers and we can't see it. If you export your progress, the file is created on your device and you decide where to keep it.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we'll process your email address and the content of your message to reply. The legal basis is your consent when contacting us and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We keep messages for as long as needed to handle them and, at most, one year after the last communication, unless required by law.

Technical browsing data

Like any website, our hosting provider logs technical request data (such as IP address, browser and page visited) to serve the site and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and running. These logs are kept for a limited period according to the provider's policy.

Analytics and advertising

ViceTracker currently uses no analytics tools and shows no ads. If we enable them in the future, they will only load with your prior consent, which you can give or withdraw at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer. We'll update this policy and the cookie policy before doing so.

3. Recipients and international transfers

We don't sell or share your data. We use Vercel Inc. as our hosting provider, acting as a data processor. Vercel is based in the United States; data transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

4. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to contacto.vicetracker@gmail.com. If you believe we haven't handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your local supervisory authority.

To delete your progress, just use "Reset progress" on the My progress page or clear the site's data from your browser settings.

5. Minors

ViceTracker is not aimed at children under 14 and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. Note that the game this site refers to has its own age rating.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to the site or the law. The current version will always be published on this page with its update date.
